Murchison Commercial Real Estate, Inc. was founded to acquire, develop and manage value-added real estate opportunities. MCRE was founded by Ken Murchison and it has spearheaded over $500 million in real estate investments.  In 2010, the MCRE management team expanded with the additions of George Murchison and Tom Wouters and since that time the primary investment focus has been value-add Neighborhood Shopping Centers within the metro areas of Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL and Knoxville, TN.  MCRE takes a hands on approach to management and leasing and its affiliate, MCRE Management Partners, LLC (http://www.mcremp.com) oversees all portfolio assets.

Company History

Ken Murchison founded MCRE as a real estate investment, management and advisory company in 1991. MCRE was the successor company to Murchison Interests, Inc., which was founded as a family real estate oversight company. MCRE began with outside property advisory and management services with clients such as Austin Industries, the William T. Solomon and Charles Solomon families, S.L.J. Company, the F.D.I.C, and numerous banks. By the mid-1990’s MCRE began originating various real estate investment programs and since then has successfully operated and exited residential, retail and land investments in partnership with long-standing equity and debt relationships.
